Einstein Helps Persecuted Artists

Einstein is very involved in helping persecuted scientists and artists. Soon he cannot take on any more guarantees for new immigrants.

Robert Musil returned to his native Austria from Berlin after the Nazis took power in 1933. In 1936 he emigrates to Switzerland, where he works in poverty on the second volume of The Man Without Qualities. He dies in Geneva in 1942.
