Cathode Rays Forced into a Circular Path
Experimental demonstration, Phywe company, Göttingen

In this experimental setting, a beam of bundled, accelerated electrons collide with atoms of a noble gas, causing them to glow and thus making the electron beam visible. The homogeneous magnetic field of Helmholtz coils forces the beam into a circular path.
