Glas lens visualizing the effect of a gravitational lens

It is possible to give a feeling about the effect of gravitational lens by an optical lens if this is cutted in a specific manner. Observe that this kind of lenses resembles the stem of a wine-glass.

This lens allows to emulate the effect of a black hole as to produce either the Einstein Ring or the Einstein Kreuz.
