A Berlin School Is Permitted Einstein’s Name
Letter to the District Mayor of Berlin-Neukölln, Exner, 15 May 1954,

Einstein was consistent in his political stance, but never stubborn.

Although he never wanted anything more to do with Germany after the horrors of National Socialism, he nevertheless gives his approval for a school in Berlin to be named after him.
