The Speckle Camera SHARP I

Speckle-Camera SHARP I was exclusively built to be mounted at the New Technology Telescope. It can observe in the near infrared energy range, corresponding to wavelengths between 1 and 2,5 micrometer, with a high angular resolution.

Since 1992, Speckle-Camera SHARP I was mainly used for observations of the Galactic Center.
